Chemical Fire EngineThese instructions describe the construction of a vehicle commonly used up to the First World War. Chemical Fire Engines were cheaper an lighter than Steam Fire Engines so could respond quickly to small fires.

The prototype for this model was built in 1909 by the Seagrave Wagon Co. of Columbus, Ohio.
