Model building instructions for a model which can be built with the contents of a 1960's Set9 plus a few common parts. It demonstrates the level of realism and prototypical accuracy that can be achieved even within the limits of a pre-1971 Set 9 with a few additions

The model is based on the Leyland-powered Gwynne pump mounted on a Bedford WL 2-ton chassis fitted with side lockers and a crew shelter. The generic trailer pump is similar to a Coventry Climax unit.
